Florida nabs Dickerson
At first Noah Dickerson was an early commitment to Georgetown, but the four-star center decided to re-open his recruitment and on Sunday afternoon it is again over. The Montverde (Fla) Academy center ended his recruitment selecting the Florida Gators. Checking in at No. 66 in the class of 2015, Dickerson is one of the better low post scoring options in the country. He is a slimmed down 6-foot-8 with very long arms and tremendous footwork. After initially picking Georgetown, Dickerson re-opened his recruitment and entertained offers from not only the Gators and Hoyas, but also LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Vanderbilt, and Miami. “Yes I have committed to Florida,” said Dickerson via text message. This is a big commitment for the Gators as they have been looking for some low post scoring in the class of 2015. By landing Dickerson, the Gators now have three commitments in the class of 2015. Dickerson is joined by another four-star pledge in shooting guard KeVaughn Allen, and then a three-star center/power forward Kevarrius Hayes.
