Indiana adds 2014 PF

Indiana added a late addition to their 2014 recruiting class on Wednesday. Emmitt Holt committed to the Hoosiers during a visit to their campus.

Tom Crean and Indiana added a late addition on Wednesday morning.

Emmitt Holt, who was set to go to Saxtons River (Vt.) Vermont Academy, instead committed to Indiana and opted to play college basketball this coming season.

"Today I would like to announce that I have committed to Indiana University," Holt said in a statement released on Twitter.

Holt was on Indiana's campus for a visit on Tuesday. According to Vermont Academy coach Alex Popp, new Indiana assistant Chuck Martin played a major role in Holt's commitment.

In the spring and summer, Holt played with Albany City Rocks. Through 16 games on the EYBL circuit, Holt averaged 11.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks a game.

Indiana's 2014 class now has six members. Holt joins a group that consists of James Blackmon, Rob Johnson, Max Hoetzel, Jeremiah April and Tim Priller.

Holt is regarded as a three-star prospect on Scout.com.
