Mann selects Noles

Florida State landed a top target on Wednesday evening.

Top 100 players continue to come off the board, and the latest is Tilton (NH) School standout Terance Mann. The athletic and versatile Mann made his decision on Wednesday evening selecting the ACC school.

At 6-foot-5, Mann has the ability to play either wing position, and had a very strong summer playing with BABC. Mann shot the ball better than before and combined it with his excellent ability to get to the rim and solid athleticism.

That led to numerous scholarship offers. Places such as Arizona State, Florida State, Rhode Island, Marquette, Boston College, and Indiana all were in the mix for his commitment, but at the end of the day it was the ACC that was right for him.

“I chose Florida State because of Coach (Leonard) Hamilton and Coach (Charlton) Young,” explained Mann. “They have been recruiting me for a long time and have been my top school for like a year.”

Mann continued, “I felt the most comfortable with Coach Young because he has been recruiting me since ninth grade and talking to me nearly every other day. I have all my faith in those two coaches.”

This is the first commitment for the Seminoles in the class of 2015. Look for Mann to come in and compete right away for immediate playing time.
