Johnson lands at Richmond
With athleticism to spare, Melbourne (Fla.) Florida Air Academy wing Julius Johnson attracted interest from college coaches during the high school season before working on his game during the summer. Now Johnson is off the board having committed. "I have committed to Richmond," the 6-foot-3 Johnson informed Scout.com. Richmond is someone with a lot of versatility to his game and has high potential going forward. In the end it was the total fit with Richmond that sold him on the Atlantic 10 school. "I pretty much just loved everything," said Johnson. "They have a great community there, great people, and everything about the school just felt right." This is a big commitment for the Spiders and someone who should come in and compete right away for playing time when joins the team in 2015.
