Mitchell re-opens recruitment
The Ohio State Buckeyes looked like they had a pipeline forming with the Mitchell family. Mike Mitchell, a linebacker committed to the football team, and shortly thereafter small forward Mickey Mitchell committed to the basketball team. However after his freshman year, Mike Mitchell decided to transfer from the school and that left questions with his younger brother's commitment. Through it all Mickey maintained his commitment to Ohio State, but on Thursday night things changed. "I've de-committed from The Ohio State University and would like to thank coaching staff for recruiting me,"said Mitchell. This is a big loss for the Buckeyes who tracked the four-star forward all summer long while he was with the Texas Titans. One of the best passers in the class, Mitchell is a unique playmaker who can set up teammates well and really competes. This de-commitment leaves Ohio State with three commitments in the class of 2015.
