Davis goes with Texas A&M
Tyler Davis' college choice is in. Davis, a 6-foot-9, 270-pound center, committed to Billy Kennedy and his staff at Texas A&M on Saturday, per multiple sources. Davis had a terrific summer playing with the Texas Titans team. Davis is a massive post prospect that fights and plays with toughness in the paint. He rebounds at a high level and can overpower defenders and score on the block. Through 16 games on the EYBL circuit, Davis averaged 13.2 points, while shooting 61-percent from the field. He also reeled in 6.4 rebounds a game. Davis is regarded as Scout.com's No. 7 center and No. 24 player overall.
