Tigers pounce once again

Everyone expected Bruce Pearl to get started quickly upon having his recruiting eligibility restored by the NCAA, but not like this.

Auburn loaded up during the weekend, getting commitments from talented frontcourt prospects Danjel Purifoy and Horace Spencer. And now, according to multiple reports, they've added a backcourt performer to the fold: juco scorer T.J. Dunans.

A 6-5 swingman at Columbia State (Tenn.) CC, Dunans averaged 23 points per game last season and generally is considered one of the country's most talented juco prospects. He chose the Tigers over Cincinnati, Penn State and others.

"The Auburn staff has been recruiting me for a long time and Coach Pearl's system will fit my style of play where I can blossom at a high level," Dunans told JucoReport.com.

Dunans also posted "War Eagle" on his Twitter page.

The Tigers obviously face a talent building effort, but no one is more equipped than Pearl to address the situation quickly. The early results speak for themselves.
