Lindsey to Baylor
Baylor added a nice piece to its 2015 recruiting class on Monday when it landed a commitment from 6-foot-5, 175-pound Salt Lake City (Utah) Olympus combo guard Jake Lindsey. Lindsey chose Baylor over offers from Columbia, Harvard, Louisiana-Lafayette, St. Mary's and Tulsa. The son of Utah Jazz GM and former Baylor guard Dennis Lindsey, the Bears are landing a kid who has the talent to help them on and off the ball. Lindsey has a high basketball IQ, good size for the position and has the skill level to both run the offense and help score off the ball, if necessary. Defensively, he'll be better off the ball. With the addition of Lindsey, Baylor now has two commitments in 2015, as the Bears started the class off with Dallas Triple A Academy shooting guard King McClure.
