The Providence Friars are working to rebuild some roster depth in the 2015 class with a strong class, and they added another quality pledge on Thursday with Drew Edwards. Edwards is a skilled scorer from Baltimore (Md.) Calvert Hall that ran on the AAU circuit with Maryland 3D. He is someone with solid athleticism and the ability to score from the mid-range and out. The Maryland 3D program announced the commitment saying, "Congratulations to Drew Edwards on his commitment to Providence College." The 6-foot-3 Edwards also had offers from schools such as Clemson, La Salle, Kansas State, Richmond, and USC. Ultimately though it was the Friars that were able to lend the pledge. This is the third commitment for Providence in the 2015 class. Edwards is joined by fellow three-star prospects in power forward/center Alex Owens and versatile forward Ryan Fazekas.
