Noles add Beasley
The Florida State Seminoles have an absolutely huge recruiting weekend going on, and it got off to a tremendous start on Friday night. That is when four-star shooting guard Malik Beasley decided to end his recruitment. At 6-foot-4 with a big time ability to score the basketball, the Alpharetta (Ga.) St. Francis prospect really put himself on the radar this summer running with the Georgia Stars. Beasley proved over and over his ability to put the ball in the bucket from a variety of ways, and now he knows he will play his basketball in the ACC. “I am truly blessed to say I have committed to Florida State University,” announced Beasley on Friday night. This is a big pick up for Florida State, as he will team with already committed wing Terance Mann to form a heck of a duo for the Seminoles. Along with his ability to score, Beasley also is a very good athlete, and should become a solid defender in time, especially under the guidance of Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton. Currently Beasley is considered the No. 59 prospect overall and the No. 19 shooting guard in the country.
