Brown sets up in-home visits

The No. 1 player in the country -- Jaylen Brown -- has in-home visits set up with five schools this week.

The Recruiting Period begins on Tuesday and’s No. 1 prospect – Jaylen Brown – has a busy week ahead.

Brown, a standout at Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler, will meet with all of the schools on his list this week, according to his mother – Michelle Brown.

Kentucky will get things started on Tuesday, as John Calipari is scheduled to come in for an in-home visit. Kansas coach Bill Self will conduct his in-home visit on Wednesday and UCLA’s Steve Alford is set up for Thursday.

While a specific time hasn’t been finalized for Friday, according to Brown’s mother they’ll meet with Georgia Tech’s Brian Gregory that day. Georgia’s Mark Fox will finish the round of in-home visits on Sunday.

Brown has taken unofficial visits to Georgia, Georgia Tech and UCLA. He’s scheduled for an official visit to Kansas the weekend of October 11th and will be at Kentucky for their midnight madness festivities the following weekend.
