Manuel headed to Pac 12
Four-star power forward Trevor Manuel didn't need too much time. The Michigan native is now going to be school in the Pac 12 as he committed to Oregon. At 6-foot-9 with long arms and good athleticism, Manuel is a power forward who has flashed major potential throughout his high school career. Now he will take his considerable upside to the Pacific Northwest. Manuel picked Oregon after his official visit to the school, and according to AAU Coach Paul Carmona that trip proved to be the difference maker in his choice. "Trevor was real excited with the opportunity he has to play as a freshman at Oregon," said Carmona. "They were high on his list before the visit, but the official visit is what put them over the top." Manuel will need to continue to get tougher and rebound at a higher rate as he adjusts to the college game, but his skill and athleticism at his size make him an intriguing prospect for Dana Altman and his staff.
