Turner makes his pledge

Three-star wing A.J. Turner is someone who can really score, and now he is off the board and will play in the ACC.

Now that he is at Boston College, Head Coach Jim Christian is working hard to upgrade the athleticism and length within the program. One player he targeted early was Michigan native A.J. Turner. Now he has landed the key pledge from Turner.

While Turner is a native of Michigan, he has been in the New England area for two years playing his prep ball at New Hampton (NH) Prep. Turner, who is 6-foot-5, can really make shots, and also is a solid athlete with some skill off the bounce.

Along with being a very good player on the court, Turner is also an excellent student. With that schools such as Wake Forest, Stanford, Harvard, and others were heavily involved in his recruitment. However in the end it was Boston College that won out.

"I am excited to announce that I have committed to Boston College," said Turner.

This is the third commitment for Boston College in the class of 2015. Turner joins three-star guard Matt Milon and another wing in Jerome Robinson.
