Blakeney is back open

Louisville thought they had a key to their future, but Antonio Blakeney is back on the market.

Under two weeks ago it looked like Antonio Blakeney would be making his home in the ACC after having committed to Louisville. Blakeney said he had known for a little while that Louisville was the right place for him, however his mind has changed.

Only 48 hours before he was supposed to be visited by Cardinal boss Rick Pitino, Blakeney decided that he no longer wanted to be a part of the program.

Blakeney himself confirmed the news of his de-commitment on his twitter account stating that he still likes the Louisville program and is considering them heavily, however the expectation is that the Cardinals will no longer pursue Blakeney.

Now you can expect Missouri and LSU to re-kindle their pursuit of Blakeney, and also the Kentucky Wildcats are expected to make a run at the highly athletic and talented 6-foot-4 shooting guard.

Currently Blakeney is the No. 5 rated shooting guard and the No. 22 player overall.
