Thybulle makes college choice
One of the summers biggest risers in the 2015 recruiting class offered up a verbal commitment on Monday. Matisse Thybulle, of Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic, pledged to Lorenzo Romar and his staff. Thybulle announced the commitment via Twitter. Thybulle also took official visits to and strongly considered Gonzaga, California and Oregon. Thybulle broke out in the spring and summer playing with the NW Express. Scout.com's Josh Gershon cites him as one of the more versatile prospects on the west coast. "Matisse Thybulle is one of the most versatile prospects out west in 2015," Gershon said. "He's an elite rebounder for the small forward position who defends multiple positions, passes well, slashes and can hit the open jumper. His floor is as a terrific glue guy with the ceiling of a very successful player." A four-star prospect, Thybulle ranks No. 15 at the small forward position and No. 73 overall.
