UNC to host 6 top 100 players

Roy Williams and his staff will have their hands full this weekend, as the Tar Heels will host seven recruits for their Late Night festivities.

The 2015 recruits expected on campus are Perry Dozier, Brandon Ingram and Luke Maye. Dozier, a 6-foot-5 guard out of South Carolina, will be on his official visit.

UNC will also welcome 2016 prospects Harry Giles, Dennis Smith, Seventh Woods and local standout Sacha Killeya-Jones.

UT hosts key recruits

Anytime a school is able to score a visit from a top five prospect, it’s a big deal.

So Tennessee has a notable weekend planned as Skal Labissiere, Scout.com’s No. 2 ranked player, will take his official visit to UT. Labissiere has already taken official visits to North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgetown. He’s scheduled to visit Baylor next weekend.

The Volunteers will also host 2015 top 100 prospect Chris Clarke and 2016 four-star prospect Braxton Blackwell, of Nashville (Tenn.) CPA.

Ray hosting seven

Rick Ray and Mississippi State are expected to have a major recruiting weekend.

Quinndary Weatherspoon. a top 100 player and MSU commit, will take his official visit this weekend. Fellow 2015 commit Joseph Strugg will also be on campus for his official visit.

2016 recruits Josh Langford, Eli Wright, Darius Hicks and Chris Clerkley, as well as 2017 recruit Devin Gilmore will be on campus as well.

Seton Hall has long list of visitors

Seton Hall has among the longest list of visitors this weekend.

Elite 2015 recruit Isaiah Briscoe is the biggest name expected to be on Seton Hall’s campus tonight.

To go with Briscoe, Seton Hall will also host Rawle Alkins, TJ Gibbs, Amaveer Singh, Ray Salnave, Bryce Aiken, Myles Powell, Samir Doughty, Mamadiy Ndiaye and Asante Gist.

Other Key Visitors

  • Five-star guard Malik Newman will take an official visit to Mississippi. Newman has also set up a trip a to Texas A&M for next week. Kansas, Kentucky, Connecticut, N.C. State and others are also involved.

  • Danny Manning and his staff will welcome four-star center Doral Moore to campus. 6-foot-8 big man John Collins will also be in town. Both are taking official visits.

  • UCLA will host 6-foot-10 post player Nick Rakocevic. A native of Illinois, Rakocevic is ranked No. 6 at the power forward position and No. 54 overall in the 2016 recruiting class.

  • Four-star center Elijah Thomas will take an official visit to SMU this weekend. He’s expected to go to Texas A&M next weekend.

  • Justin Robinson will take his final official visit. He's visiting UNLV this weekend. He's already taken visits to Maryland, Virginia Tech and Providence.

  • West Virginia will host four 2016 recruits this weekend. Their visitor list includes Corey Manigault, Eli Wright, Craig LeCesne and Chase Harler.

  • Aaron Falzon, who is recognized as one of the top shooters in the 2015 class, will take an official visit to Northwestern this weekend.

  • Clemson has a key visitor as top 100 wing Tevin Mack will visit their campus this weekend. Mack is ranked No. 69 ovearll in the 2015 class.

  • Cuonzo Martin and California will host Kerwin Roach, a top 100 guard, on an official visit this weekend.

  • Georgia Tech will host LeGerald Vick and Tacko Fall for official visits. In-state targets Alterique Gilbert and Brandon Robinson will also be on campus for unofficial visits.

  • Washington State will host 2016 guard JaQuori McLaughlin for an unofficial visit.
