Robinson goes with Virginia Tech
Buzz Williams and Virginia Tech added another top 100 prospect on Sunday. Justin Robinson, of Saint James (Md.) School, pledged to Virginia Tech over significant interest from Providence and UNLV, according to a source. Maryland was also involved with Robinson for much of his recruitment. Virginia Tech assistant Isaac Chew was the point man for Robinson. Robinson was one of the first players Williams targeted when he got the job at Virginia Tech. A 6-foot-1 point guard, Robinson has a tremendous feel for the game. He understands the point guard position, knows how to run a team and is a superb passer. Robinson is also a capable shot maker from both mid-range and three. Robinson, a four-star prospect, is ranked No. 86 overall in the 2015 class. Virginia Tech now has a pair of top 100 player in 2015. Robinson joins top 100 post player Kerry Blackshear to make up their current recruiting class.
