Flatt Receives Division I Interest

Over the course of the last few months, we've seen a high number of players, including a number of shooters. Justin Flatt, a 6-3 shooting guard, from Savannah (TN) Hardin County was one of the better shooters we watched.

Flatt Receiving Division I Interest

The Mid-State Ballerz, an AAU team out of Tennessee, didn't receive that much national publicity this year, but they do have a few Division I players on the roster. Combo guard DeMarco Polk and shooter Justin Flatt will sign Division I grants at some point this year.

Flatt is receiving interest from a number of schools including Arkansas State, Troy State, UT-Martin, Fairfield, The Citadel and Navy. He'll likely take visits to Arkansas State, Troy State and UT-Martin sometime in September.

Last year, he helped Hardin County to a 17-7 record and averaged 21 points along the way. More impressive was his shooting from downtown, and that's what he does best. Flatt connected on 77 of 175 3-point tries, a 44% clip.

In June at the Atlanta Basketball Classic, he strung together a series of impressive games as Mid-State put together an unexpected run, upsetting a few teams before bowing out in the playoffs.
