Teague makes his pick
Indianapolis (Ind.) Pike forward Tahjai Teague opened up eyes this spring and summer on the AAU circuit with the Eric Gordon Central Stars during the Adidas Gauntlet. Now the 6-foot-7 combo forward has made his pick and he is staying in state. “Tahjai has committed to Ball State,” said AAU coach Roy Hairston. “I spoke with his mom and they felt it was the right place and that Tahjai can be very successful on the court and in the classroom at Ball State.” This is a big commitment for the Cardinals who tracked Teague all summer long and made him a priority recruit in the 2015 class. Teague also made a visit San Jose State as well as considering schools such as Indiana State and Western Illinois before electing to take the offer from the Cardinals following an official visit to the campus. This now gives Ball State two commitments in the 2015 class. Teague is joined by post prospect Trey Moses.
