Wow, That Was Fast!

Well, that was fast. One visit was enough for PG CJ Watson. He made a trip to Tennessee last weekend and Buzz Peterson, the former college teammate of one Michael Jordan, got it done.

Watson Picks The Vols

CJ Watson, a point guard from Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman, pulled the trigger during his visit to Tennessee this weekend.

"I already knew I was going to go there and if I liked the visit I was going to commit," Watson said. [The staff] were happy and were giving me hugs and stuff."

Watson also looked at Minnesota and Fresno State. UCLA was taking a peek at him. He really upped his stock this summer with a tremendous performance at the Las Vegas adidas Big Time where he strung together a series of impressive scoring runs and displayed tremendous quickness. He'll be ready to get out and run once he arrives in Knoxville.

Just last week, Watson was talking about taking his official visits, so Buzz Peterson and the boys at Tennessee must have done a great job with him on the visit. "It was nice, I went around the school and saw all the facilities. It was fun and they made me feel really at home and comfortable."

Watson fully understands what it means to be a Volunteer as he's about to undergo a serious wardrobe change. "I'm wearing orange right now."
