Gage attracting coaches

Combo guard Devin Gage is someone who could really emerge in the state of Illinois as a junior.

Point guard Devin Gage is someone who really attracted college attention at the end of the summer The Chicago (Ill) Curie product running with Team Rose got himself on the radar with his strong play, and now offers are beginning to come in.

At 6-foot-2 with a strong frame and good athleticism, Gage is definitely someone who draws attention. Add in that he is a gifted scorer, and it is no surprise high-major programs like the 2016 combo guard.

Now Gage says he is working to perfect all aspects of his game.

“I’m working on every aspect of my game, especially my vocal skills and my defense,” said Gage. “We are a really young I have to help everybody make plays and everything.”

Recruiting wise Gage says that he is hearing from numerous programs.

“Lately I’ve been hearing from St. Louis, Iowa, Iowa State, Bradley, DePaul, UIC, Rhode Island, and Clemson,” noted Gage.

The most recent offer for Gage came from the DePaul Blue Demons. It was an offer that Gage was very excited to get.

“I’ve wanted an offer from them since I was in eighth grade,” said Gage of DePaul. “They are hometown team and it was very exciting”

For now Gage says he isn’t close to making a decision, and has no visits planned. His focus is on having a big junior season and being a leader for his team.
