No doubt due in part to the presence of his heralded teammate, Justice Kithcart will enjoy the opportunity to impress myriad college coaches this season. A 6-2 junior combo guard, Kithcart is a quick and hard-charging athlete with legitimate high-major quickness.
He also boasts a lean, powerful frame that should fill out and become even more of a weapon over time. Kithcart does his best work in the open floor and blazing to the rim after receiving a high ball screen. Though not yet a classical floor general, he projects as a tough defender who can handle players at either backcourt position.
To accompany with his progress, a variety of schools are keeping tabs.
”Clemson was my latest offer,” Kithcart said. “I also have offers from UC-Irvine, James Madison, ODU (Old Dominion), Northern Arizona and UNC-Wilmington.”
Kithcart is busy on the court with VES this fall yet also intends to visit both the Tigers and East Carolina. He and Killeya-Jones took a trip to Virginia, though that visit was more for his teammate and less for him.
Still, he clearly is piecing together a solid recruitment with an opportunity to expand his interest during the next several months.
”Schools like me as a pure point, and I can also be a combo,” Kitcart said. “I’m looking for my playing style, which is to get up and down.”
Kithcart said he’s in no rush to make a decision or whittle his list.
