Dugan makes pick

Three-star center Seth Dugan opted to stay close to home for college.

The Western Michigan Broncos scored in a big way on Tuesday afternoon. With the early signing period winding down, they got the news they were looking for from Seth Dugan.

The 6-foot-10 and 225 pound Dugan issued his commitment to the Broncos he announced. Dugan is one still a bit of a work in progress at the center position, but he has legit high-major size, and a solid skill level to go with pretty good mobility.

Recently Dugan made an official visit to Purdue and came away with a scholarship offer, but the Big Ten wasn't enough to sway him away from home. Instead Dugan stayed close to home and chose the MAC school.

This is very big for the Broncos as simply not many players who fit Dugan's profile commit to the MAC out of high school. Usually they only get to the league via transfer, but now the Broncos will have four years of Dugan, and he will be in a position to contribute right away.

Currently Dugan is rated as the No. 30 center in the class of 2015.
