Five-Star Honesdale Update

Here's an update from the Five-Star staff after their August Honesdale event.

From The August Honesdale Event ...

Shagari Alleyne 7-2 JR Rice (NY) vastly improved...starting to be a serious factor on both ends of the floor...not playing aau ball this summer has really helped his game

Michael Blackshear 6-5 SR Simon Gratz (PA) solid 3/4...having a great camp and had a great workout with Hubie Brown...once guard skills come around will be very good...did not get a list of schools for him

Arthur Bowers 6-4 JR St. Benedicts (NJ) will be Danny Hurley's first star player...can really score and defend...will be in the Big East

Ramel Bradley 6-2 JR Park West (NY) tough combo guard...should be one of the better underclassman players in the PSAL next year

Keydron Clark 5-9 SR Rice (NY) starting to develop some point guard skills...if that is the case it could advance his recruitment dramatically...one of the top shooters in the east coast...no list of schools

Elijah Clarke 6-5 JR Spingarn (DC) having a great camp...long/athletic...only 16 years old...could be the best player in DC next year!

Quincy Douby 6-3 SR Grady (NY) top 5 shooter in america plus he can defend...should be PSAL player of the year next year...lists Seton Hall/South Florida/George Mason/Hofstra

Sundiata Gaines 6-1 SO Molloy (NY) playing in the development league and dominating...very explosive to the rim with some shooting range...should start with Marlon Smith next year at Molloy...that will be fun to watch...he was also rookie of the year at IS8 spring league

Elijah Ingram 5-11 SR St. Anthony's (NJ) the best player at camp but is a little banged up after a long summer...so explosive and now has a legit jumper...school list St. John's/Georgia Tech/Boston College/Uconn

Dwayne Lee 6-0 SR St. Anthony's (NJ) playing like the best guard in camp...maybe the most underrecruited player in the east coast...gets overshadowed by Elijah both during the summer and winter season...no school list but should be a High Major recruit...just ask Hubie Brown!

Daon Merritt 5-9 JR St. Raymond's (NY) plays like a Five-Star guard...tough minded and a big time leader...really has matured on and off the court...

Jamar Nutter 6-2 JR Seton Hall Prep (NJ) real solid off the dribble and getting to the hole...feel for the game is great and seems to always have fun on the court

Daniel Oglesby 6-1 SR Hamden Hall (CT) very explosive to the rim with big time range...school list Rutgers/Xavier/East Carolina

Russell Robinson 6-1 SO Rice (NY) in line to be the next great one at Rice...top 10-15 nationally...if Telfair did not live in NY this could would have all the national exposure...he is very very good!

Ted Skuchas 6-10 SR Germantown Acad (PA) fundamentally sound in the post...was hurt all summer...finally at full strength and showing it
