Marcelus said that he has in-home visits set with Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Seton Hall. He told us that he plans trip to Oregon, Seton Hall and Gonzaga for sure.

When asked if he had received any offers yet, Marcelus said, "Gonzaga, Utah and Nevada have offered me."

We asked if he had a leader and Marcelus said, "No, but my Dad wants me to go to Gonzaga." Marcelus mentioned proximity to home and his relationship with the coaches and players as important factors in his decision. "Jerry Petty, my teammate at Garfield, is at Nevada, and Josh Reisman and Sean Mallon are two guys from Washington who will be at Gonzaga."

Marcelus said it's possible he may not sign in the fall. "I could wait until spring," he said.

Marcelus told us that he has a GPA of "around 2.5 to 2.8" and he plans on taking the SAT in October.
