Another Top PG Commits!

Todd Galloway isn't making an official visit to Xavier this week as the Musketeers received a commitment from Dedrick Finn. The Notre Dame Prep point guard isn't about to take a chance with his recruitment and on Wednesday selected the school of his choice.

Galloway Headed To The ACC

On Tuesday morning, Xavier accepted a commitment from PG Dedrick Finn. The move essentially meant Xavier had filled its need for a point guard and Todd Galloway wouldn't be visiting campus this week. Then, Galloway wasted little time and opted to make a commitment of his own on Wednesday.

Galloway, a standout for Paul Bowden's Baltimore Select team the past few years, selected Florida State, according to Bowden. Ironically, Mississippi State, another school that had been in the Finn race, called on Tuesday to try and get involved. West Virginia, Rhode Island, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Iowa State and Miami-FL also showed interest in him, along with George Mason.

"I think Todd will be a great asset to State due to the fact he can score and defend the ball," Bowden said.

Galloway, ranked No. 91 by BlueChipHoops, has a brother that attends Florida A&M in Tallahassee. He will make an official visit to see the Seminoles the weekend of Sept. 9.
