Bowling Green Nabs Swingmen

Dan Dakich and Bowling Green hit the daily double this week. The Falcons added a pair of high school teammates; both perimeter players and both should be quality assets to the program.

Daily Double For Bowling Green

On Wednesday, Bowling Green added a pair of perimeter players to start its 2002 recruiting class. Actually, Dan Dakich saved a little money recruiting both SF Ron Lewis and SG Raheem Moss. The two are teammates at Columbus (OH) Brookhaven.

Lewis was a big hit while playing this spring and summer for All-Ohio Red. He's athletic and has plenty of offense.

Moss, a 6-3, 200 pound shooting guard, was named "Mr. Stations" at one of the July Five-Star Camps.

Brookhaven finished 26-1 last year with no seniors. Prominent underclassmen Andrew Lavender and Brandon Foust are also on the team making Brookhaven quite a formidable opponent this season.

Bowling Green, with its two commitments, now has one grant remaining and the Falcons will continue their search for a big man.
