Bryant doing his research
Currently four-star center Thomas Bryant is doing his research on schools. The highly touted member of the strong Huntington (WV) Prep program is one of the best prospects available in the 2015 class, and he is taking his time with his decision. For the 6-foot-10 and 240 pound Bryant, he is having a tremendous senior season dominating down low. Also the season is going well for Huntington Prep, and Bryant is happy with how things continue to develop. “This season has gone real good,” said Bryant. “We are off to a great start, and we have a great team. We are coming together slowly but surely, but things are coming along well.” He continued, “I have been working on my post moves and also on my passing so that I can get my teammates easy shots.” Recruiting wise Bryant’s mother has stated that Indiana and Syracuse are the main two choices with schools like Kentucky and Missouri also trying to be in the mix. For his part, Bryant says he is more focused on his own season, while studying the schools he is talking to. “I’m not worried about colleges right now,” noted Bryant. “Of course I am thinking about it some, but I like all of them the same and that is why they are my top choices. I am just taking it day by day, looking at every game they have and learn as much as I can about every program.” Bryant continued, “We study their games a lot. We try and evaluate where I would be, and how I would be utilized and if I can be a contributor on the team.” At this point there is no specific timeframe for a commitment from Bryant, but it is reasonable to expect he won’t make his college decision until after his season at Huntington Prep is completed. Bryant is viewed as the No. 9 center and the No. 31 prospect overall.
