Five-star Giles cuts down list

Although Harry Giles is just a junior, the talented prospect is already thinking about the recruiting process. He sliced his list of schools to eight.

The top rated recruit in the 2016 class -- Harry Giles -- narrowed his list of schools to eight on Monday.

Giles list of schools includes Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Syracuse, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Ohio State and UNLV.

At 6-foot-10, Giles is a gifted power forward. He's a solid athlete, mobile and can score the ball in a variety of ways. Blessed with very good hands a nice touch, Giles can score on the block, but he's also effective facing the rim, where he can make jump shots or drive less versatile defenders.

In mid-June of 2013, Giles tore his multiple ligaments in his knee. After a year of recovery, Giles returned the court late last spring. By July, Giles was back to his dominant self and is currently in the midst of an impressive junior campaign at High Point (N.C.) Wesleyan Christian.
