Kapita commits to Arkansas
Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson picked up significant news on Thursday. Ted Kapita, a 6-foot-9 post player out of Huntington (W.V.) Prep, committed to the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from a host of schools, including Missouri and Memphis. Huntington Prep coach Arkell Bruce informed Scout of the decision. "He chose them because of their style of play and he hit it off with some of the players currently on the team," Bruce said. Kapita gives Arkansas a strong, physical post player inside. He's athletic, a very good rebounder and is also capable of cleaning up misses inside and scoring some around the basket. Kapita is regarded as Scout's No. 43 overall prospect in the 2015 class. He joins No. 55 ranked guard Jimmy Whitt to make up Arkansas current recruiting class.
