Olesinski talks upcoming visit

Alex Olesinski is prepared to take a big weekend visit

Three-star power forward Alex Olesinski has had a very solid senior season for La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere. Olesinski is a skilled 6-foot-8 forward who can stretch the defense and also attack some off the dribble. Now Olesinski has a weekend visit planned.

With his team having a break in the season, Olesinski will make his official visit to UCLA. The Bruins recently offered him, and now he is ready to out there and see the campus.

“I'm really excited to visit the campus, and talk with the coaches,” said Olesinski. “I'm also interested to see how they believe I will fit in with their program and what they will expect from me. How they envision me playing and developing me.”

Olesinski continued about the Bruins, “Aside from that I want to get to know the coaches better and get a feel for the campus and student life there.”

Along with UCLA, Olesinski has long held offers from Arizona State and Boston College, and recently picked one up from Rice to go along with renewed interest from New Mexico.

Still the Bruins appear to be in the driver’s seat here as the visit is set to take place this weekend.

Olesinski is a very good student and is extremely concerned with academics as well as the athletic component of things.
