Collins chooses Zags
Gonzaga had a success start to its 2016 recruiting class on Monday with the addition of 6-foot-10, 215-pound Las Vegas Bishop Gorman center Zach Collins. Scout's 84th ranked prospect chose Gonzaga over previous offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, New Mexico, Oklahoma, San Diego State and UCLA. Collins announced his commitment via Twitter. A skilled center who is most comfortable facing the basket, Collins has made strides to his game and body over the last couple of years. He's capable of hitting jumpers or passing from high post but can also finish and rebound inside. Collins is Gonzaga's first commitment in 2016.
