JUCO standout commits to USF
Orlando Antigua added Junior College scorer Shawn Smith to his 2015 class. Smith, who started his college career at Texas A&M, committed to South Florida early Sunday morning, a source told Scout. During his sophomore season at Lee College, Smith averaged 15.3 points a game and shot 39.8-percent form three (45-for-1130. A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Smith was regarded as the No. 29 shooting guard when he came out of high school in 2011. Antigua and USF now have five pledges in their 2015 class. Smith joins Luis Montero, Jahmal McMurray, Tulio Da Silva and Luis Santos to make up their current class.
