Carlisle opens things up

Point guard Nai Carlisle has decided to re-open his recruitment.

Point guard Nai Carlisle has roots in the state of California, and initially he decided to make an early decision to attend San Jose State, however that is no longer the case for the West Lafayette (Ind.) product.

At 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, Carlisle is a solid point guard prospect. He can run a team, score, and is a tough defender.

Now according to his AAU coaches Mark Adams and Kristof Kendrick, now Carlisle is an uncommitted prospect.

Carlisle has a brother who played football at Notre Dame and his father is on staff as a strength coach at Purdue, so there are ties to local schools, though neither offered him before his commitment to San Jose State.

At this point the plan for Carlisle is to play out the spring and summer with Indiana Elite, and to then re-evaluate his recruiting.
