Chase Jeter is the Next Great Duke Center

The 6’11”, 5-star forward reminds of another recent big from Krzyzewskiville.

He’s not Jahlil Okafor. Okafor is built like a rhinoceros or a train, where Chase Jeter is thinner and better moving from side-to-side. But Jeter’s game, with powerful reverse slams and blocks around the rim, reminds of a player who recently won a National Championship with Duke, and who had an All-American career: Mason Plumlee.

Basically, Duke’s center situation over the past five years has gone from great to great to great, and Jeter’s just the next in line.
