Source: Alexander to declare for NBA Draft

Cliff Alexander's career at Kansas is over after just one year.

Kansas freshman Cliff Alexander is headed to the NBA Draft, a source told Scout on Tuesday.

Alexander averaged 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds during his only season at Kansas. Alexander missed Kansas' final eight games due to eligibility issues.

The 6-foot-8, 240-pound center is currently projected to go No. 31 in DraftExpress' latest mock draft.

Coming out of high school Alexander, a standout at Chicago (Ill.) Curie, was ranked No. 6 overall by Scout.
