Diamond Stone sometimes seems like he's lumbering rather than running, as though he's a little too heavy or too slow. Sometimes, he seems like he's just big, and that if he weren't big, then he wouldn't be any good. But you know what? Most people said the same thing about Jahlil Okafor before he took over college basketball en route to a national title, and the Maryland-bound center looks like the best big in the class of 2015. He's a huge catch for Mark Turgeon and the Terrapins. For a team that finished second in the Big East, Stone might be the last piece they need to become true title contenders.
Is Diamond Stone the Next Jahlil Okafor?
