Williams sets UNC, UVa visits

Kenny Williams, one of the top available prospects in the 2015 class, met with a pair of coaches on Friday and scheduled visits with two other schools.

Since reopening his recruitment and being released from his Letter of Intent to VCU, a host of high major schools have reached out to Kenny Williams, a reputable shooter out of Virginia.

According to his father -- Kenny Williams -- the main schools include North Carolina, Michigan, Georgetown, Virginia, Louisville, Kansas and Florida.

A pair of head coaches were in to see Williams on Friday, the elder Williams told Scout. Michigan's John Beilein stopped by his school, while Georgetown's John Thompson III conducted an in-home visit.

Williams, who visited VCU officially the first time around, has set up a pair of college visits. He will officially visit North Carolina starting tomorrow. Then he will take an unofficial visit to Virginia on Tuesday.

"We will set up more officials on Friday," Williams' father told Scout.

"[We are] still just trying to get all the information he can so he can make an informed decision," he added.

A 6-foot-3 guard out of Chesterfield (Va.) LC Bird, Williams is regarded as a four-star prospect and is one of the best three-point shooters in the 2015 class.
