Kansas lands Diallo

Kansas pulled in the commitment of five-star center Cheick Diallo on Tuesday.

It was a drawn out and intense recruitment, but at the end of the day Cheick Diallo knew where he wanted to go. The Centerreach (NY) Our Savior standout came to his decision on Tuesday.

"Cheick is definitely going to Kansas," said high school coach Eric Jakltisch to Scout.com.

Diallo is a 6-foot-9 run and jump athlete with an incredible motor. He was named the MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic as well as the McDonald's All-American game through his hard work and high energy style of play.

This is a big commitment for Kansas as the Jayhawks were able to beat out Kentucky, St. John's, Iowa State, and Pittsburgh for his services.

While Diallo is a work in progress on the offensive end of the floor,he can be a game changer on defense. There might not be a better rebounder and shot blocker in the entire class than Diallo.

Currently Diallo is rated as the No. 10 player overall and the No. 5 center in the class of 2015.
