Penn State adds pledge

Penn State has added a quality 2016 pledge to their recruiting class.

Under the direction of Patrick Chambers, Penn State has shown a desire to be very active in the city of Philadelphia on the recruiting trail. That continued on Thursday night as Nazeer Bostick of Philadelphia (Penn.) Roman Catholic and Team Final issued his commitment to the Big Ten School.

At nearly 6-foot-5 with long arms and pretty good athleticism, Bostick is one of the top players in the City of Brotherly Love. He has been off to a solid start to his AAU season with Team Final, and now he has found his college home.

"I am truly blessed to announce that I have committed to Penn State University," announced Bostick.

According to Bostick it was the total program at Penn State that led him to picking the school.

"I picked Penn State because I see into the future and I think Penn State is on the rise," said Bostick. "I like the coaches, the academics, and just everything about the school."

This is a nice commitment for the Nittany Lions. He provides the skill and athleticism on the wing that they need to rise from the bottom of the conference. Also this pledge comes on the heels of a very solid 2015 class brought in by Chambers and his staff.

This is the first commitment for Penn State in the class, and the Team Final AAU Coach Aaron Burt expects Bostick to make an immediate impact.

"Penn State recurited him very hard and loves his motor," said Burt. "The coaches really appreciate his style of play, energy, and effort. He is getting better every day and I feel like he will make an immediate impact."

This is the first commitment for Penn State in the class of 2016.
