Boomer's Visit List Nearly Complete

Nashville (TN) Donelson center Boomer Herndon is seemingly looking at five programs. He has visits arranged with four of them and the final date is in the works. The seven-footer is attracting SEC, ACC and Big Ten Interest.

Four Visits Already Set Up

The madness of official visit weekends and in-home appearances is about to begin for Boomer Herndon, a seven-foot center from Tennessee. "I had an unofficial Saturday to Alabama and my whole little home visit deal is about start," Herndon said.

Boomer's current list reads Penn State, Tennessee, Alabama, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt. The Nittany Lions enter his home on Sept. 10, followed by Tennessee (13), Alabama (17), Wake Forest (18) and Vanderbilt (20).

Once the in-homes are complete, the big fella begins his campus jaunts. Tennessee is first the weekend of Sept. 29, followed by Penn State (Oct. 5), Vanderbilt (Oct. 12) and Alabama (Oct. 20). The Deacons have yet to pick a date to bring him in.

"I plan on visiting each and then decide before the season starts," Herndon said. "I'm just trying to enjoy it. I don't take it as stress I just take as something where I am trying to make the right decision."
