Brown picks Northwestern

Northwestern landed their second commitment in the class of 2016.

Chris Collins and his staff at Northwestern are off to a fast start in the class of 2016. Already they had landed a top priority at forward in Rapolas Ivanauskas, and now they have landed a big time scorer in Isiah Brown.

Brown has had a solid spring with Team Bradley on the adidas Gauntlet circuit, and is putting up very impressive numbers. During his official visit to the school Brown decided to commit to Northwestern.

"A lot of the decision came down to the relationship that I developed with Coach Collins and his staff," said Brown. "I feel like they believe in me and are excited about me being there."

Along with Northwestern, Brown had offers from Washington, St. Mary's, and Utah State.

In the end despite living across the country from Northwestern, the Big Ten greatly appealed to Brown.

The opportunity to play in arguably the best conference in the country and do something that has never been done before there (make the NCAA Tournament) along with getting a great education at the same time gave me the best of both worlds."
