NBPA Top 100: Jaylen Fisher

Four-star Jaylen Fisher remains a highly coveted point guard in the class of 2016.

Point Guard Jaylen Fisher has been on the national radar since his freshman season. Playing up with Team Thad, Fisher has shown his impressive athleticism and speed with the basketball. Now at the NBPA Top 100 Camp he is hoping to show that he is more complete as a player.

“It is a privilege to be here,” said Fisher. “I am happy I came. I was here last year, but it is always good to get this experience and play against top talent.”

Fisher continued, “I have been working a lot on my shooting. I know I need to improve on that.”

Recruiting wise Fisher is still considering a long list of schools. Some of the programs that have been in contact include Memphis, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, Ohio State, Iowa State, Baylor, and NC State.

When asked where things stand in his recruitment, Fisher said, “All of my options are open. Everybody is equal to you right now.”

Visits are likely to take place for Fisher following the summer AAU circuit. After that he will begin to narrow down list and really figure out where he would fit in best.

When the time does come to set up visits and to make decisions, Fishers knows what he will be looking for in a school.

“I am just looking for a place that shows me a lot of love and also where I can get playing time,” explained Fisher.
