Nike Elite 100: Terrence Lewis

Terrence Lewis is someone who is on the rise, and he is definitely seeing things pick up in his recruitment.

Athletic kids who have versatility on both ends of the floor and a high motor are always in demand. Add in an improving skill set, and Terrence Lewis has really opened up eyes so far this summer. The most recent impressive performance coming at the Nike Elite 100 Camp.

“I’ve been doing good so far,” said Lewis of his play over the summer. “I am working mostly on my defense and just trying to get better overall. On the offensive end I am working on my shot. I can get to the rim, but I know I have to improve my shot more.”

Lewis is someone who has really improved his ability to make jumpers. Combine that with his athleticism and ability to get to the rim, and colleges have been picking up the interest with Lewis.

“I have interest from Milwaukee, Drake, Iowa State, Wisconsin, and Marquette,” said Lewis.

About Wisconsin, Lewis said, “It is a great experience to hear from them. They have a great program.”

Marquette is located very close to home and Lewis says he is familiar with the Big East program.

“I like Marquette,” noted Lewis. “It is close to home and I know Duane Wilson who plays for them, so it is good to hear from them.”

It is just the beginning of the recruiting process for Lewis, and with that he is keeping his focus on the classroom.

“I am focused on my grades and my books right now,” said Lewis. “My mom and my dad make me focus on grades a lot. I know without the books there is no basketball so that is my main focus.”
