LSU adds Sims
The LSU Tigers added to their recruiting class on Sunday afternoon in the 2016 class. Local target Wayde Sims picked the school. This is another solid pledge for Johnny Jones and his staff. Sims is a 6-foot-5 wing who happens to not only be related to Jones, but is also a legacy at LSU where his father played basketball. With his combination of scoring, toughness, and athleticism, Jones and his staff made sure to target Sims. "I have verbally committed to stay home and play for the LSU TIGERS," Sims announced on Sunday. This commitment comes off of a Gatorade Player of the Year honor for Sims in the state of Louisiana. Jones and his staff have been dynamite at keeping local prospects home in recent years, and Sims is just another very talented player to commit to the program.
