Young chooses Texas
Texas is on the board in 2016 as the Longhorns landed their first recruit of the class on Tuesday. Jacob Young, a 6-foot, 170-pound shooting guard from Houston Yates, pledged to Texas on Tuesday, sources told Scout. Young later confirmed via Twitter. The younger brother of former Oregon standout and Indiana Pacers' 2015 second round draft pick Joseph Young, Jacob is Scout's 82nd ranked 2016 prospect and 13th rated shooting guard in the class.
