Three recruiting Azubuike hardest

Udoka Azubuike has three schools recruiting him the hardest. Here's the latest on the four-star 2016 center.

One of the most productive players in the 2016 class is Jacksonville (Fla.) Potter's House Christian Academy center Udoka Azubuike.

A strong and physical post, Azubuike is an automatic two points around the basket at the high school level and tries to dunk everything in the paint.

Scout's 30th ranked prospect and 6th rated center in 2016 is pleased with how his summer - and game - are coming along.

"I've been playing pretty well," Azubuike said. "I think I've improved in some areas. I think I'm progressing in my post up game and I think I'm steadily improving my free throws too. I'm posting up, being aggressive and getting rebounds."

Azubuike listed three schools that are recruiting him the hardest and then broke down what he likes about each of them.

"Probably Florida, Florida State and Kansas," Azubuike said.

Florida: "It's a pretty good school. It's a new coach and situation so I don't know much about them right now."

Florida State: "Coach (Leonard) Hamilton is pretty cool. I've met him a couple of times."

Kansas: "They've been recruiting me and I watch their games. They play my style of play. The assistant coach spoke to me about their program and it sounds pretty good."

Azubuike said that he isn't planning a decision until "the end of this year or next year (sometime)" but will take some visits soon.

"I haven't taken any official visits yet," he said. "I've been to Florida State games but it wasn't an official visit, I just went for games. The rest of the schools I've seen on TV. After the summer I'll take a couple visits."
