Papagiannis to pursue pro career
Georgios Papagiannis will stay in Greece and pursue a professional career, a source told Scout. Papagiannis, who spent his junior season at Westtown (Pa.) School before heading back to Greece, considered playing college basketball and had significant interest from N.C. State, Kentucky, St. John's and Oregon. A 7-foot center, Papagiannis averaged 8.1 points and 7.7 rebounds during the FIBA U19 World Championships last week.
