Double Pump: Juhwan Harris-Dyson

ANAHEIM, Calif. - On Wednesday night, Juhwan Harris-Dyson used his size, length and athleticism to make a statement about what kind of defensive upside the 2017 wing has.

The Pump N'Run Elite 16u squad had several intriguing 2017 and 2018 prospects who helped their stock on Wednesday night at the Double Pump Summer Tip Off and perhaps no one more than Juhwan Harris-Dyson.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound wing from Northridge (Calif.) Heritage Christian put his name on the map as perhaps one of the West Coast Class of 2017's most versatile defenders.

A long and athletic kid, Harris-Dyson could very likely defend the one through three at the next level due to his size, long arms, lateral quickness and motor on the defensive end.

Offensively he showed a high basketball IQ, making several impressive and unselfish passes throughout the night.

Harris-Dyson will need to keep improving his jumper, but has a quick first step, nice speed in the open court and finishes in transition.

The rising junior has heard from Portland and Santa Clara so far, but expect that list to expand quickly.
