Elite 100: Ajani Kennedy
After growing a few inches in the last year, 2017 Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde forward Ajani Kennedy has improved his stock. The 6-foot-7, 195-pound face-up forward has pretty good size and length and is a capable shooter from midrange and three, who runs the court and finishes in transition. "I push the ball, rebound and defend the basket," Kennedy said. "I'm working on my right hand and getting a consistent dribble." Kennedy is hearing from Boise State right now and grew up a fan of a couple programs. "I've always been a big fan of Duke and USC," Kennedy said. "My mom went to college at USC and I grew up around that campus because she worked there. "With Duke, ever since I've been watching basketball they've been winning and I like winners." The rising junior will be looking for a combination of education and athletics. "I want a team that works hard and has good academics," Kennedy said.
